OPTIMUM SYSTEM PRODUCTS – OUR HISTORY

Optimum System Products, Inc., (OSP) was established in December 1985 and incorporated in January 1989. Currently, OSP maintains distribution centers in Ohio, Florida, Louisiana, Colorado, Minnesota and Pennsylvania, along with offices in Ohio, Florida, Louisiana, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, New York, Colorado, South Carolina and Pennsylvania. Optimum and its officers are also owners of Optimum Print Solutions, a commercial printing entity, located in Columbus, Ohio along with having financial interest in Optimum Systems Plus located in Scranton, PA.

The officers of the corporation are John R. Martin, President and Dorothy L. Martin, Treasurer. The officers along with thirty-five (35) other employees of Optimum and seventeen (17) employees of Optimum Print Solutions bring vast experience to the corporation with master and bachelor degrees in art, marketing, finance and accounting in addition to subsequent training in graphic design, forms management, commercial printing and system procedures.

Optimum’s exciting program “Supplies Outsourcing Services” (SOS) is the outsourcing of a bank’s supply operation to OSP via “The Manager” software. Outsourcing has proven to be of value to financial institutions of all sizes nationwide, and especially those needing to become more efficient. Our first larger community bank outsourcing client in Louisiana resulted in a distribution center in Lafayette which was operational in sixty days. The President of this institution recently stated “Optimum System Products pointed out to me an area of my bank that I didn’t even know was a problem. We have benefited from personnel time savings, space, and budget reductions for more than eight years.”

Fifteen years after the introduction of our Supplies Outsourcing Service, we have made numerous improvements to this program and we have added over 150 additional outsourcing clients, among a national client base of over 1,200 financial institutions. We are also endorsed by banking associations in Ohio, Texas, New York, Michigan, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Wisconsin. Brintech, Alex Sheshunoff Management Services and the Bankers Bank of the West also are recommending us to their financial clients.

We are proud of the track record we have established with our financial institution clients. Optimum is now ranked as the largest independently owned provider of printed products and supplies to community banks in the U.S. according to the Print Services Distribution Association.
